When we talk about online streaming and OTT, we come across many terms, among which IPTV is one of them. We are undergoing a transition from traditional broadcasting modes such as cable or satellite television to streaming based on the Internet, and IPTV as a system will play an important role in this transitional stage. Basically, customers are not as concerned about owning content as they are about accessing it. This is where IPTV appeared. Let's carefully study the exact meaning of IPTV, its working mode and architecture, the types of IPTV services, and the future of IPTV. So, what is IPTV? IPTV refers to protocol television based on the Internet, where the Internet is used to provide live or on-demand television programs and videos. To understand how IPTV differs from traditional television, let's compare traditional television viewing methods with IPTV - both cable and satellite can work by allowing users to "tune" to specific channels within the signal, while the fundamental difference is that the cable is connected through cable while the satellite is wireless (until it reaches your house). The main example of cable TV is Time Warner cable, which is transmitted through coaxial cable connections, while the example of satellite TV comes from providers like DirecTV, which is transmitted and transmitted to the audience through radio waves. IPTV uses an Internet Protocol (IP) based network to transmit TV channels to users' set-top boxes. When viewers click on any TV program or request a video, videos from different sources (servers) will be divided into packets and sent over the Internet. The video server transmits the program to an existing home through an internet connection through a fiber optic cable, sends a request, and puts the program back in. In the past few years, IPTV has been continuously growing. The total number of global IPTV users has now exceeded the 130 million mark. As of the end of 2015, there was a net increase of 6 million subscribers in the past 24 months. On this basis, many young people will tailor their home IPTV usage to OTT services.

Microsoft just shipped a brand new cumulative update for Windows 10 devices, this time as a preview in front of the next Patch Tuesday rollout due in March.
The brand new update is KB5022906, and it is targeted at the latest versions of Windows 10 still receiving support, namely Windows 10 version 20h2, version 21H2, and version 22H2.
Microsoft reveals in the changelog that Windows Spotlight is getting further improvements around the lock screen, with links now opening faster when clicked.
The next changes are members of update KB5022906:
This update improves your experience if you use Windows Spotlight on your lock screen. The informational links open faster. This update addresses an element that affects IE mode. The text around the status bar is not always visible. This update addresses accessibility issues. They affect Narrator around the Settings webpage. This update addresses an issue that stops hyperlinks from employed in Microsoft Excel. This update addresses an issue that affects a particular streaming app. The issue stops video playback after an advert plays within the app.
With regards to known issues, Microsoft disapproves new bugs are included. However, the update ships with the same old glitch that impacts Microsoft Edge, with the legacy version of the browser removed although not automatically replaced by the brand new Chromium-powered browser.
Windows 10 will continue to get support until October 2025, as Microsoft is otherwise fully committed to increasing the experience with Windows 11. The discharge of Windows 11 came with upgraded system requirements, so some Windows 10 devices weren't permitted to move to the new operating-system.
As such, when the 2025 deadline is reached, Windows 10 could be pulled, with devices running it without other option rather than be replaced with hardware entitled to the switch to Windows 11.

In 2021 when Microsoft announced Windows 11, one of the biggest changes the new operating-system included did not concern the new features however the computers where it had been supposed to be installed.
Windows 11 was therefore offered with upgraded system requirements, essentially abandoning lots of devices which, at least initially, seemed perfectly able to running the OS.
Leaving aside the controversy produced by this approach, Windows 11 was therefore blocked on lots of computers.
The upgrade mysteriously turned up on unsupported devices this past year, despite Microsoft clearly proclaiming that computers not meeting the machine requirements would stick to Windows 10 until 2025 when the support comes to an end.
And earlier this week, everything happened again, with Microsoft once more providing the upgrade to Windows 11 to unsupported devices because of what Microsoft describes being an accident.
Inside a post around the Windows Health Dashboard, Microsoft says that the computers offered the upgrade weren't allowed to complete installing Windows 11 anyway. The issue has already been resolved, the company claims.
"Some hardware ineligible Windows 10 and Windows 11, version 21H2 devices were offered an inaccurate upgrade to Windows 11. These ineligible devices didn't meet the minimum requirements to operate Windows 11. Devices that experienced this issue were not able to to accomplish the upgrade installation process. This issue was detected on February 23, 2023, and resolved on the same day," Microsoft explains.
The organization still recommends users to stay with Windows 10 if their devices don't meet the system requirements to run Windows 11. Windows 10 will receive updates until 2025, at which point this OS version is going to be retired. Upgrading the hardware will become the only option, as otherwise, no further security updates could be available.

The release of the Windows 11 Moment 2 update witnesses a brand new improvement visiting the Start menu.
As most users have no doubt about, the debut of Windows 11 brought us a significant Start menu makeover. Now centered alongside all of those other taskbar icons, the beginning menu no more uses the live tiles that were available in Windows 10, but a more static design borrowed from Windows 10X.

Microsoft has detailed the company's latest method to improve the delivery of Windows updates, especially in the case of companies where deploying urgent patches is important.
Available for devices enrolled in the Windows Update for Business deployment service (in Intune and Windows Update for Business), this program is mainly targeted at resolving zero-day security vulnerabilities in a timelier manner.
Microsoft says a great way is to configure the number of days necessary for a reboot to 1 or 2 days, as it prevents forced reboots to minimize the disruption within the organization.
Full focus on security updates
At the same time, additionally, it provides a reasonable window to deploy security updates, though when zero-days are now being involved, immediate rebooting might be required.
"If you are using the expedite capability the very first time, then just before reaching a zero-day vulnerability scenario, identify in case your devices are eligible to receive expedited updates or not.
